Pool House Addition

F.E. Trainer completed construction of this pool house addition in 2023. Designed to blend seamlessly with the existing home, our team paid close attention to material selection in an effort to make the new structure seem as if it were constructed alongside the original home. Thick stone walls, copper gutters, and a mottled terra cotta shingle roof provide a sense of place. The pool's natural stone coping is over four inches thick, a testament to the timelessness of the original architecture. Inside, oversized timber framing supports the entire structure and evokes a castle-like ambiance. Herringbone brick flooring, a huge stone fireplace, reclaimed windows, and a hanging bench swing are other unique architectural features. Across the room, a bar top and gourmet grill space with active ventilation will allow the homeowners to barbecue year-round without ever having to worry about rain, and the space is fully screened to keep bugs outside. A bathhouse room accessible to both the interior and exterior spaces rounds out this carefully thought out addition.
